It’s easy to get in to the routine of listening to one radio station constantly as you’re making breakfast in the kitchen, on your car stereo and at work. With so much choice out there it’s a shame to stick with just one radio station.
How many radio stations are there in the world?
There are around 44,000 radio stations in the world, according to the CIA World Factbook, with a large percentage of them available to listen to online at the click of your mouse. If you take all the broadcasting radio stations in the UK (around 905 at last count) they would only just make up 2% of the world’s radio stations! A staggering amount of choice is out there from the 13,769 radio stations in the United States to the 608 radio stations on air in Australia and that’s just scraping the iceberg.
