What is Stutter?
Stutter is defined as “talk with continued involuntary repetition of sounds, especially initial consonants”. Whilst in real life it can cause a lot of problems, in the audio production it is a very useful effect – able to bring even the most boring radio sweeper to life! Often associated with the 80s where the effect became very popular amongst the radio stations.
