How Did we Benefit from Internet Marketing?
Hello I’m Mike and my co-host is Izabela and our online business that we run from the Isle of Wight in the UK has benefitted greatly from internet marketing. We’ll aim to share some of the online marketing practices we’ve used to build up a global business that now works with (on average) clients from around 107 different countries each year. This business – Music Radio Creative – now turns over 5 figures every single month thanks in no small part to web based marketing activities.
It’s all About the Online Community
The internet is a wonderful thing and has allowed us to create an online community of well over 200 podcasters in the United Kingdom (and growing!) Creating a community of people who are passionate about the same thing you are is another great possibility with internet marketing.
This also led us to organise a conference called #ukpod14 which attracted nearly 90 podcasters to a venue in Birmingham. Again we sold 100% of the tickets for this conference online and our only for of promotion was done online.
What Have we Created with Internet Marketing
A buzzing email list of over 20,000 people that we know are getting our emails because they want to hear about what we’re doing. How cool is that? We also have social media profiles with tens of thousands of followers all built up using internet marketing.
We have even found very good services in our local area using some online marketing techniques. More on that in a future podcast episode.
