We’re back with another episode of AI Tools for Creators! In this episode, hosts Mike Russell and Izabela Russell dove into the nitty gritty of the AI tools they use as content creators.
Supercharge Your Writing with ChatGPT
Mike started off by raving about one of ChatGPT’s newest features – Code Interpreter. This allows you to upload files to ChatGPT and have it analyze them by running scripts and code. You can upload text files, PDFs, podcast transcripts and more. Then prompt ChatGPT to summarize the key points, analyze keywords, and even generate data visualizations!
While Code Interpreter has some limitations since it can’t access the internet, it provides a whole new level of AI-powered data analysis. Mike tested it by having ChatGPT summarize podcast episodes and compare keywords across different shows.
Easily Create Short Videos with InVideo
Up next, Izabela shared how she leverages InVideo along with ChatGPT to quickly generate short videos for social media. She prompts ChatGPT for interesting facts related to her niche and then turns those into simple videos using InVideo’s preloaded templates and assets.
She’s found these AI-generated videos often outperform regular shorts on YouTube. It’s an easy way to create a high volume of content to reach new audiences.
Generate Stunning Images with Midjourney
When it comes to AI image generation, Mike insists Midjourney wears the crown. Its ability to select an image and generate variations while maintaining brand colors and style is unmatched.
At his company Music Radio Creative, Mike uses Midjourney to create product images, overlays, and more. It saves him from hiring graphic designers each month. He believes Midjourney removes limits on imagination for visual content creation.
Design Graphics in Adobe Express Beta
Izabela sang the praises of Adobe Express Beta for its built-in generative AI capabilities. It makes graphic design easy, even for non-designers. You can generate images from text prompts, and it provides templates, color schemes, and dimensions for different platforms.
The podcast artwork for this very episode was made in Adobe Express! While it’s free in beta, Adobe will likely charge for it in the future. But it’s well worth exploring now.
Clone Voices with ElevenLabs
Mike gave us a sample of ElevenLabs’ voice cloning capabilities, with AI mimicking his voice speaking French. This company is pioneering AI voice generation, from cloning existing voices to generating entirely new ones.
Mike has used it to create alternate language versions of his podcast. It also allows Music Radio Creative customers to license his AI voice. This provides more flexibility than hiring voice talent.
Bonus: Useful Chrome Extensions
Izabela rounded out the tools discussion by highlighting some nifty Chrome extensions that interface with ChatGPT:
- ChatGPT Prompts – Premade prompts for YouTube chapters, social posts, SEO and more
- YouTube Transcript Summarizer – Summarize videos in ChatGPT
