View iTunes Reviews in All Other Countries General view itunes reviews Music Radio Creative

I’ve just started a podcast for Music Radio Creative and was amazed at how difficult it is to view iTunes reviews in different iTunes stores around the world. Yes, that’s right, you get a different set of customer reviews for your podcast (or app) in each different country! I tried clicking the flag at the bottom of the iTunes software, changing country and searching again for my podcast but this takes time and it would be impossible to check all 122 countries (that iTunes is currently present in) quickly using this method.

A quick Google search didn’t help much and then, after a bit of playing, I found my own method… it’s much quicker and I’d like to share it with you in the hope it’ll help you if you’re a podcaster or an app developer. Enjoy this video tutorial!

iTunes Reviews in Other Countries Example

Here’s my podcast on iTunes in the UK and here’s my podcast on iTunes in the US.

All you need to do is change the country code in the URL and bookmark each country into a folder and you have an at a glance method of checking your reviews (ctrl + tab is your friend!)

  1. Hey I was wondering and searching about, how can I change the country location of my podcast, see I live in the netherlands and I have a weekly podcast that is very hot and every week it is in the New and Noteworthy part of the dutch itunes store, while chaging the flags to see more reviews ect I founded out that my podcast is not in other countries new and noteworthy, so is there any kind of way that I can have my podcast in the new and noteworthy of for example the usa?

    1. Hi Kono, each different iTunes store seems to rank your podcast dependent on a number of factors. If you want to rank higher in the US iTunes store the best action you can take is to persuade as many of your US listeners as possible to rate and review your podcast.

  2. Mike, thank you so much! This was killing me. I have a friend in Majorca who reviewed my show (coolest thing ever if you live in Chicago) and I can’t see it! Brilliant fix!
I’ll listen to your podcast and give you a US review. Will you do the same in the UK?

  3. Hey there, you mentioned that you’d include a document with the country codes but I can’t see it anywhere — am I missing something? Thanks so much for the suggestion though, so helpful!
